Meet the Cars

Technology, as we all know, marches forward. What appears insurmountable one decade, becomes commonplace the next. This has been demonstrated to great affect by the outstanding progress the automotive industry has made in overcoming technical challenges and reducing the cost of hydrogen fuel cells to the point where they can be economically mass produced.

The DOE has reduced the cost of automotive fuel cells from $275/kW in 2002 to $47/kW in 2012 and is targeting a cost of $30/kW by 2017.

Even though such progress is inevitable, the HyGen staff are still in awe, and truly excited, by the impressive range of production-ready FCEVs.

We can’t wait to get our hands on these beauties!
